<h1>Sunday Thoughts: Ein wenig lost, aber immer noch da!</h1>

<p>Wow! Als ich mich eben an den Computer gesetzt habe, um diesen Artikel zu schreiben, habe ich bemerkt, dass ich seit Mai (!) keinen Post mehr in meiner Rubrik <em>Thoughts</em> veröffentlicht habe. Passenderweise ist der Grund dafür auch der, wieso ich diesen Artikel, mit dem ich lange, lange gehadert habe, heute doch schreibe. Denn: Ich bin unzufrieden. Und das kann ich nicht länger verstecken. </p>

<p>Einige sehr aufmerksame Menschen unter euch haben mich darauf in den letzten Wochen und Monaten schon angesprochen (obwohl ich dachte, dass ich das eigentlich ganz gut verbergen kann), aber da mir Ehrlichkeit in der Kommunikation mit euch von Beginn an <strong>so so</strong> wichtig war, habe ich mich nun doch durchgerungen meine Gedanken niederzuschreiben, ehrlich mit euch und auch mit mir zu sein.</p>

<p>Es ist so: Mein Job hat sich in den letzten 1-2 Jahren <strong>sehr</strong> verändert. Instagram ist nicht mehr der Ort, an dem ich mich so zuhause gefühlt habe, dass ich vor 5 Jahren meinen Redakteursjob gekündigt habe, um hauptberuflich Content Creator zu sein. Die abnehmende Sichtbarkeit, der täglichen Kampf darum, zwischen all den abertausenden schönen Accounts zu bestehen, relevant zu bleiben in Zeiten von Pandemie, Krise und Krieg und dabei selbstverständlich auch noch wirtschaftlich zu blieben (sprich: Geld zu verdienen). Was mich umtreibt ist die Entwicklung, dass wir Creator inzwischen nicht mehr „nur“ eine echte und wertvolle Community aufbauen sollen, sondern dass wir, egal welcher Typ Mensch wir sind, was unsere individuellen Stärken und Schwächen sind, EntertainerInnen sein sollen. Wir sollen unterhalten – und das vor allem schnell, oft und leicht verdaulich. Kaum jemand liest noch Texte oder bekommt Bilder ausgespielt (selbst wenn man eigentlich Bilder-Fan ist) und die Plattform selbst belohnt das Emotionalisieren von Inhalten oder die Empörung als Reaktion darauf mehr als Kontinuität, Ehrlichkeit und Qualität. Und ein Leben wie meines, ohne Kinder, ohne Hochzeit, ohne Trennung, ohne Boyfriend, der durch jeden zweiten Story-Frame läuft, geschweige denn in seiner Freizeit Fotos oder Videos von mir macht oder gar mein Manager ist, ohne Vlogs oder Tränen – das zieht halt einfach nicht mehr so. </p>

<p>Ich möchte mich eigentlich generell nicht beschweren, sondern nur erklären, wieso mein Content über das letzte Jahr weniger geworden ist, wieso ich vielleicht nicht mehr ganz so sehr „sprühe“, wieso ich manchmal stiller bin als üblich und hinter den Kulissen hadere und zögere und nicht zuletzt, wieso meine Rubrik <em>Thoughts</em>, die zu Beginn von <em>Frollein Herr</em> meine absolute Lieblingsrubrik war und über die ich so wunderbar mit euch connecten konnte, so leer geblieben ist. Das liegt daran, dass mir schlichtweg die Worte fehlen. Ich schreibe nur über Dinge, die ich wirklich fühle, über das, was mich umtreibt und bewegt und das ist seit geraumer Zeit nun mal der Zustand der Ungewissheit, wo es für mich beruflich hingeht. Ich wollte vermeiden, dass die <em>Thoughts</em> zu einer Beschwerderubrik über meinen Job werden und damit für euch null relevant. Deshalb war ich so lange still.</p>

<p>Niemand gibt gerne zu, dass er struggled. Dass er unsicher ist, unmotiviert und manchmal regelrecht ausgebrannt. Gerade in meinem Business, in dem es ja darum geht, andere Leute zu inspirieren, zu motivieren und zu unterhalten, will doch keiner jemandem zuhören, der seit geraumer Zeit <strong>alles</strong> hinterfragt, unzufrieden ist und sich mit Selbstzweifeln herum schlägt. Das war und ist zumindest mein Gefühl und der Grund, wieso ich weniger Kolumnen geschrieben habe, weniger Texte, die tiefer gehen und ja, ehrlicherweise auch weniger Herz in meine Arbeit gelegt habe. Einfach, weil ich ein wenig leer bin – und das fühlt sich nicht gut an. <p>Nein, es kommt jetzt keine große Ankündigung, dass ich mich von Blog oder Instagramaccount zurückziehe, meinen Job an den Nagel hänge und mich irgendwo wieder feststellen lasse. Es gibt überhaupt gar keine große Ankündigung – aus dem einfachen Grund, dass ich selbst noch nicht weiß, wo es für mich hingeht. Ich weiß nur, dass sich etwas ändern muss. Schlicht und einfach deshalb, weil ich es mich kaputt macht. Es belastet mich mental sehr, mit meiner eher überlegten und manchmal introvertierten Art, die Dinge anzugehen, neben den vielen, vielen Accounts, die vor Telegenität und Witz nur so sprühen, abzustinken. Es belastet mich sehr, dass meine Arbeit, die sich an Likes, Followerzahlen und Statistiken misst, ganz nüchtern betrachtet, einfach nicht mehr „gut genug“ ist. Es belastet mich sehr, wenn ich Mails von Marken bekomme, die keine Ahnung davon haben wer ich eigentlich bin, was ich kann oder wofür ich stehe, sondern nur meine Statistiken sehen wollen, um dann zu entscheiden, was ich „wert“ bin oder ob ich es überhaupt „wert“ bin, dass mit mir gearbeitet wird.</p>

<p>Ich habe mich bewusst für die Modewelt, fürs Schreiben entschieden, da ich dort zum aller ersten Mal in meinem Leben Menschen getroffen habe, die waren wie ich. Denen Ästhetik genauso viel gibt, wie mir. Die unvernünftig sein können, wenn der Bauch „Ja“ sagt und die genauso wenig eine Zahl sein wollen, wie ich. Ich bin keine Zahl – ich kann keine Zahl sein, weil meine Welt anders funktioniert. Ich bin gut, wenn ich meinem Bauch folgen kann, ich bin sehr gut, wenn ich dabei von Menschen umgeben bin, die mir ähnlich sind und die an mich glauben, aber ich bin grottenschlecht, wenn mir ständig jemand über die Schulter schaut und versucht meine Arbeit in eine Excel-Tabelle oder ein uninspiriertes Konzept zu pressen oder wenn ich mich und mein Können als Produkt zum Verkauf anbieten muss (I know – ziemlich doof als Selbstständige). </p>

<p>Bevor ich aber hier zu tief in meine inneren Kämpfe mit der Welt abtauche, komme ich lieber darauf zurück, was ich eigentlich zum Ausdruck bringen wollte. Nämlich: Dass ich gerade versuche mich und meine Karriere neu auszurichten, an die neuen Bedingungen anzupassen und mich wieder auf die Aspekte meines Jobs zu konzentrieren will, die ich nicht nur besonders gut kann, sondern die mir auch Spaß machen. Vielleicht werden diese Veränderungen für euch gar nicht sichtbar sein, sondern hinter den Kulissen stattfinden, vielleicht aber auch nicht. Aber ich will meine Karriere nachhaltiger gestalten und nicht in der konstanten Abhängigkeit des Meta-Konzerns leben und ausschließlich von Monat zu Monat denken. </p>

<p>Man kann also sagen, dass ich mich auf einer Reise befinde – wohin das alles geht, weiß ich selbst noch nicht, geschweige denn, wie lange es dauern wird. Und deshalb wollte ich darüber bisher auch nicht schreiben, weil ich vermeiden wollte, mit halbgaren Gedanken um mich zu werfen oder gar mit Aussagen, die ich zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt vielleicht wieder zurücknehmen möchte. Aber wisst ihr was? Drauf geschissen. Ich bin ein Mensch, das ist mein Blog und ihr seid hier, weil ihr genau wisst, dass ich keine perfekte Maschine bin, sondern ein Wesen aus Fleisch und Blut. Ich kämpfe, ich leide, ich liebe und ich versuche mein Bestes, um all das einigermaßen unbeschadet zu überstehen. </p>

<p>Vielleicht mache ich ja einen Laden auf. Vielleicht zieht es mich zurück in die Printwelt. Und ganz vielleicht übernehme ich morgen die Weltherrschaft. Wer weiß das schon? Ich jedenfalls nicht. Und statt euch hier oder auf meinem Instagramaccount irgendwas vorzuspielen, Ausreden zu finden, wieso ich mal drei Tage abtauche, im Urlaub tatsächlich Urlaub mache oder eben mal keine gute Laune habe, möchte ich lieber ehrlich sein. </p>

<p>Denn auch wenn ich es als selbstständige Content Creatorin per definitionem bin, fühle ich mich nicht wie eine Dienstleisterin, sondern vielmehr als hauptberufliche Gefühle-Fühlerin. Diese Gefühle übersetze ich dann in Texte, Bilder und Konzepte und hoffe damit Stimmungen aufgreifen zu könne, die meine individuellen Gefühle allgemein werden lassen. Derzeit aber fühle ich leider zu oft zu wenig und deshalb kommt kreativ auch viel zu oft „nichts raus“. </p>

<p>Ich verstehe das. Der Druck ist so groß und die, die eigentlich selbstbestimmt arbeiten wollen, können es durch die Einflüsse der Plattform nicht. Und ja, es ist nicht schön, wenn man nahezu unsichtbar gemacht wird, weil man sich seinen eigenen Weg etwas anders vorstellt als in einem täglichen Reel happy durch die Gegend zu hüpfen wie mit 16.</p>

gerade wegen der Kategorie „Thoughts“ mag ich deinen Blog so gerne! Für jemanden wie mich, der sich jahrelang nur schwarz angezogen hat, weil Modefragen gnadenlos überfordernd erschienen, war es ein Lichtblick zu sehen, wie viel mehr hinter scheinbar oberflächlicher Mode steckt. Dein Demenz-Artikel hat mich, als ich ihn gelesen habe, sehr ergriffen – ein starkes Stück Selbstoffenbarung in dieser schnelllebigen Internetwelt. Aber trotzdem mit so viel Distanz zum Innenleben, dass ich nicht das Gefühl hatte, alles über mein Gegenüber zu wissen.<br />

Deine Frustration über Instagram, den Algorithmus und das immer Mehr an Content kann ich nachvollziehen. Kann nur als User sprechen: Instagram und die „perfekte“ Welt weckt in mir Begehrlichkeiten, von denen mir lange nicht bewusst war, dass ich sie habe. Ich habe beschlossen, mich abzumelden.<br />

|
|
Regelmäßig wenn ich deine Produktionen für andere Brands sehe, bin ich baff ob der Ästhetik, die sich bis ins kleinste Detail zieht. Dank dir hab ich den Mut aufgebracht, Pastellgelb und Pink ins CD aufzunehmen ;D Will sagen: Man muss nicht mit Traumhaus, Bilderbuchhochzeit und Hybridhund flexen – eine gute Portion Talent tut es auch.<br />
